HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a fast-growing and acquisitive financial services business, to support them with the hire of a new Financial Controller, as a result of internal promotion.
About the role:
This is a varied and hands-on role, preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts for the UK and European group, assisting with integrations, supporting process improvements, and managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts for all UK and EU entities
* Manage company bank accounts and oversee supplier payment runs
* Assist with integration of new entities and wider finance-related projects
* Ensure robust financial controls and reconciliations are maintained
* Support process improvements and implement new processes
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
* Oversee and manage two Finance Assistants
About You:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong financial reporting/management accounting or audit background
* Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
* Services sector experience (desirable)
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Used to supporting more junior team members
* Professional and positive approach
