We’re working with a supportive school that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing classroom support, small group interventions, and one-to-one assistance where needed.
Role Details:
* Start Date: Immediate or October 2025
* Location: Lancaster
* Contract: Long-term, full-time (with potential for permanent)
* Pay: £89–£95 per day (depending on experience)
* Supporting pupils in class with their learning and engagement
* Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions
* Helping pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience
* A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working with children (in schools, nurseries, youth work, or similar)
* Flexibility to work across different year groups
