About the Role
Our client, a prominent global investment organisation, is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to strengthen its global compliance oversight function in Edinburgh. This position plays a key role in ensuring the business meets regulatory obligations and maintains robust governance standards.
Operating within the second line of defence, you’ll work closely with teams across regions to deliver effective monitoring, enhance controls, and embed compliance practices throughout the organisation. The ideal candidate will combine strong regulatory expertise with analytical capability and a proactive approach to managing compliance risk.
What You’ll Do
1. Develop and implement monitoring plans and thematic reviews aligned to the firm’s risk priorities.
2. Evaluate control frameworks across core business areas and investment products to ensure effectiveness.
3. Highlight compliance concerns, escalate where necessary, and recommend practical solutions.
4. Prepare clear, actionable reports summarising findings and agreed remediation steps for senior stakeholders.
