Are you a passionate People Administrator looking to make a real impact by giving a voice to those without speech? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team and contribute to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
Your Impact
As their People Administrator, you will:
1. Recruitment and Staffing: Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling. Onboarding - Handling and processing new starter documentation. Administer online DBS checks, ensuring renewals are actioned within required timescales.
2. Training and Development: Support the L&D Assistant with organizing learning and development courses, including booking rooms, managing delegate lists, coordinating with external providers, and arranging equipment for workshops or sessions.
3. Compliance and Legal: Review, manage, and update employee information and benefits on their HR system. Ensure HR records (sickness, benefits, personal details, etc.) are maintained accurately. Process leavers, issue leaving documentation, update employment status, and conduct exit interviews.
4. Rewards and Recognition: Manage company memberships, show bookings, amendments, and renewals. Handle wellbeing platform YuLife and private medical insurance enrollments/removals. Support departmental initiatives like employee wellbeing programs.
5. Operational Responsibilities: Support the People team with ad hoc tasks, maintain databases and filing systems, liaise with team members and managers on HR or employee queries, respond to general inquiries via various channels, manage the jobs inbox, deliver daily HR operations, produce reports and analysis, and support project work and audits.
Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone manner.
2. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an administrator or in a similar role.
4. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly, applying judgment and problem-solving skills.
5. Proactive, autonomous, with a 'hands-on' approach and creative thinking.
6. Committed to high-quality customer service, internally and externally.
7. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
