Assistant Office Administrator
Leeds City Centre

\t* Office-based (no hybrid working)
\t* Full-time, 5 days per week
\t* Competitive salary, dependent on experience

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and reliable assistant office administrator to support our business operations. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day administration of the practice, supporting our team and ensuring a smooth client experience. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and with a can-do approach to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

\t* Front-of-house: answering calls, greeting clients, managing emails
\t* Managing appointments, calendars, and meeting rooms
\t* Preparing and formatting documents (letters, engagement letters, reports)
\t* Supporting onboarding of new clients (ID checks, document collection)
\t* Handling incoming/outgoing post and office supplies
\t* General admin support to partners and accounting staff

Required Skills and Experience:

\t* Previous experience in an office administrator or similar role
\t* Strong organisation and attention to detail
\t* Confident communicator with a professional manner
\t* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and networked systems
\t* Data processing onto computer software
\t* Handle confidential information discreetly
\t* Good time management and the ability to prioritise
\t* At times be able to work under pressure

Desirable:

\t* Experience in an accountancy practice or a professional services environment
\t* Basic understanding of accountancy terminology

What we Offer:

\t* Competitive salary (depending on experience)
\t* 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays; plus an additional 3 days over Christmas when the office is closed
\t* City centre parking
\t* Full time employment – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch and Friday 8.30am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch
\t* Supportive and professional working environment
