Are you passionate about guiding young people to develop essential life skills and values through PSHE?

GSL Education are recruiting a Teacher of PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Southampton. Applications are welcomed from QTS holders, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and candidates with relevant overseas teaching qualifications.

Key Responsibilities of the Teacher of PSHE:

* Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that cover personal, social, health, and economic education.
* Support pupils in developing emotional intelligence, resilience, and an understanding of key social issues.
* Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support academic and personal growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop PSHE resources and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements for the Teacher of PSHE:

* QTS, ECT, or overseas equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for PSHE education.
* Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
