Job Description
The Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing UKAEA events that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. This role requires a creative thinker to be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* · Devise and organise UKAEA events, both on and off site, for a variety of stakeholders
* · Prepare budgets for events, tracking income and expenditure
* · Create sponsorship packages, promoting and selling them to cover the costs of events
* · Ensure events are executed flawlessly and align with brand standards
* · Collate and analyse event feedback to continually improve UKAEA events
* · Manage Association Events Conferences (up to 1000 delegates)
* · Manage Business Development Managers’ attendance at exhibitions
* · Build and maintain relationships with external partners
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
* Demonstrable experience in event planning
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive and able to work independently, identifying and implementing solutions to tasks
* Ability to be able to travel off site, sometimes at short notice, to manage events or attend site visits
