Salary: £24,637.57 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5 (Monday to Friday - 7.30 AM to 5 PM)

Position Overview
Based in the Personnel Office HMS Collingwood, this role provides a broad and flexible service to meet the contracted administration requirements of the Armed Forces (predominantly the Royal Navy). There is potential to rotate through various elements of professional responsibilities when required to meet the needs of the business. Training can be provided where appropriate.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide a dedicated day-to-day focal point for personnel administration, including direct customer interaction and liaison with coordinators and line managers.
* Arrange travel using an online booking system and coordinate with booking companies, coordinators, and travelers.
* Collate and maintain budget-related information and protect personnel-related data.
* Input data and update within the joint-Service administration system.
* Assess entitlements such as pay, allowances, expenses, promotions, and awards.
* Ensure all activities comply with current Health and Safety Regulations and General Data Protection Regulations.
* Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Line Manager, including support or cover for other staff members.

* Versatile, intuitive, professional with good judgement and integrity; pro-active and persuasive when required.
* Reliable, well-presented, and able to reflect MITIE values; able to adapt to changing business needs and customer demands.
* Strong administration experience with excellent organisational and motivational skills and a high degree of integrity.
* Proven track record of delivering quality administration and customer-facing service.
* Proficient in IT with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Desirable: familiarity with MOD personnel administration applications and systems.
* Proactive approach; able to embrace and lead change; capable of managing last-minute changes to requirements and deadlines.
* Good standard of education.

* MOD security clearance and DBS Standard required (Proof of right to work in UK essential).
