gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a QC Inspector to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City
Performance Objectives
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical sheets.
* Carry out dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
* Proficient in the use of handheld measuring devices including callipers, gauges,
* micrometres etc.
* Work to set daily targets.
* Record non-conformances in a descriptive manner.
* Signing C of C (training provided)
* Completing first off and final inspection
Person Specification
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an aerospace inspection environment
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings & specifications.
* Use of handheld measuring equipment
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of inspection processes and methodologies
* Knowledge of CMM
* Experience of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
