Location: Field based role in Oxfordshire, East Midlands and West Midlands
Responsibilities
* As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of training provider and employer partners. Acting as the primary point of contact, you’ll build strong, lasting relationships that drive engagement, satisfaction, and commercial growth.
* You will use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure our partners have the tools and support they need to succeed.
* Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen AAT’s presence and impact across the UK.
* Major objectives include: lifecycle management from onboarding to offboarding, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, monitoring performance metrics, identifying and mitigating risks, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and representing AAT at local events.
* Develop long-term account plans and identify opportunities for upselling and expansion; stay informed on market trends and changes in the education and professional development sectors.
Qualifications and skills
* Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
* Customer-centric mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the education or professional services sector.
* Financial acumen and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
* Knowledge of the education and training sector, and ideally the funding/apprenticeship landscape.
* Hold a valid UK Driving license and access to a suitable car for regional travel.
* Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
