Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is working with partners across the care community to deliver a unique, cross care setting, real-time, patient-centric electronic health record that will improve the quality and delivery of care to the patient.
This role is part of a specialist team of multi-skilled clinical systems professionals committed to providing a customer-focused IT Clinical Systems service to ANHSFT and wider partners, including BTHFT.
The successful candidate will provide specialist knowledge to support the design, development, and delivery of a consistent IT Clinical Systems service, ensuring accurate requirement assessment and effective knowledge transfer. Promoting data integrity and the use of good data for decision-making is essential.
The role also involves playing a leading role in smartcard support and provisions for the Trust, supporting services around IT Clinical Systems, including second-line helpdesk support, configuration, data entry and capture, bug resolution, and training and go-live support as needed.
Main duties of the job
* Supporting BAU operations and the introduction of new SystmOne modules and other clinical systems across the Trust and partner organizations such as BTHFT.
* Collaborating with project teams to support the implementation of new business processes and clinical system usage.
* Ensuring effective communication of complex system information and assessing training needs.
* Providing specialist help desk support for IT Clinical Systems and Smartcards, logging and communicating issues with system suppliers and IT teams.
* Interpreting and communicating complex system information internally and to external suppliers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to diploma level or equivalent experience
Experience
* Experience with comprehensive patient systems supporting patient care
Desirable criteria include NHS experience, SystmOne, and ICE experience.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of data validation, quality assurance, complex system requirements, NHS data standards, and NHS Smartcard support.
* High-level skills in IT Clinical Systems configuration and administration, especially TPP SystmOne and Sunquest ICE.
