Role:
This is an exciting new role within Thaikhun, we're looking for someone with real energy, drive and an entrepreneurial mindset to make it their own.
Thaikhun is all about bold flavours, busy restaurants and fun, street-food vibes. As Sales Manager, your focus will be growing our corporate, group and local business across all sites, driving footfall, increasing covers and building strong relationships that keep guests coming back.
You'll be out in the community, connecting with local businesses, hotels, tour operators, universities and corporate clients, bringing larger groups and repeat trade into our restaurants. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll spot opportunities, act quickly and make things happen.
People
* Work closely with the Operations Managers and site teams to drive sales initiatives at restaurant level
* Support teams to maximise group bookings and ensure a brilliant guest experience
* Live and breathe the Thaikhun brand values and culture
* Build strong relationships internally and externally to create new opportunities
* Share best practice and success stories across sites
Budgets
* Deliver against agreed sales and footfall targets
* Create and manage a strategic sales plan for each site/region
* Track performance weekly and adjust activity to maximise results
* Work alongside Marketing to ensure campaigns generate measurable ROI
* Identify opportunities to increase revenue through partnerships and group bookings
Tactical
* Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking and cold leads
* Target corporate clients, offices, hotels, tour groups, coach companies, universities and local attractions
* Drive large group bookings and repeat trade
* Plan and execute local activations, partnerships and promotions
* Attend local events and build community presence
* Analyse trends and customer behaviour to spot new opportunities
Brand
* Ensure all activity reflects Thaikhun's fun, relaxed and authentic street-food personality
* Keep messaging fresh, energetic, and accessible
* Work with Marketing to ensure campaigns are on brand and impactful
* Be an ambassador for Thaikhun in every interaction
IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Proven experience in hospitality sales, business development or group bookings
* High energy, outgoing and confident networker
* Comfortable being out on the road and visiting sites regularly
* Commercially minded with a strong focus on results
* Creative thinker who can generate new ideas to drive footfall
* Excellent communicator and relationship builder
* Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
* Self-starter who takes ownership and makes things happen
* Hospitality experience essential
This role involves regular travel between all our sites (Southampton to Aberdeen), with some evening/weekend work and overnight stays depending on events and business needs.
