As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems offshore team based in Newcastle UK you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in Flexible pipe design and manufacturing, Project Engineering and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice with the opportunity to complete a part-time BEng Mechanical Engineering degree program. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field of mechanical engineering while pursuing your academic goals.

As a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
* Collaborating with engineers to analyze and solve technical problems.
* Conducting research and gather data to support engineering projects.
* Learning and applying engineering principles to real-world projects.
* Attending classes and complete assignments as part of the part-time degree program.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have minimum 112 UCAS Tariff Points to include Mathematics and a Science or Design based subject. https://www.ucas.com/ucas/tariff-calculator
* Be willing to enroll in a part-time BEng Mechanical Engineering degree program. Degree will be undertaken on day release to Teesside University.
* Hold a valid driving license for the UK.
* Have a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Have knowledge of engineering principles and design concepts.
