Senior CAD Technician – Roofing & Cladding (Building Envelope)
Location: Warrington/Widnes (Office-based, occasional site visits)
Salary: £38,000–£48,000 + benefits (negotiable depending on experience)

Overview
We're a growing construction SME specialising in the building envelope and are looking for a CAD Designer to produce high-quality technical drawings for roofing and cladding projects. This is an office-based role in a motivated, fast-paced team, with genuine progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Produce project-specific CAD working drawings and fabrication/detail drawings
Review architect/engineer/steelwork drawings & specifications and raise RFIs/design queries
Attend design meetings (office/site/Teams)
Liaise with customers, consultants, manufacturers and suppliers
Support site teams with design/install queries
Assist with material schedules and occasional site surveys/measuring
Essential Requirements
Strong CAD experience in a construction/design environment
Ability to create accurate technical drawings and details
Confident communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Organised, proactive, able to manage multiple projects
Roofing & cladding / building envelope knowledge
Experience with systems such as standing seam, composite panels, rainscreen cladding, single-ply, hot melt, SFS
