Fleet Support Administrator - North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust - Haydock.
The Fleet Support Team within the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust plays an essential role in supporting our front-line clinicians in the management and administration of logistic support functions, assisting to maintain the availability of the Trust's vehicle fleet.
Role
The Fleet Support Administrator's role, along with other team members, involves the operation of the Haydock Regional Logistic Centre Reception Office and actioning of tasks within various work streams including:
1. Management and processing of the Trust's lease cars.
2. Insurance management and processing of road traffic accidents including repairs.
3. Management of vehicle consumables cards and expenditure oversight.
4. Fuel management, overseeing bulk fuel locations, and coordinating fuel cards and EV charge points.
5. Management and processing of all vehicle fines.
6. Management of supporting vehicle documentation.
7. Daily management of databases and management information systems.
As a key team member, you will also focus on your personal development, including staff training and course completion, attend meetings, record data and minutes, and support dashboards.
Main duties of the job
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines are vital.

* Follow established processes, advise on Trust policies, and utilize standard operating procedures.
* Experience with computer systems, including Microsoft Office, web-based, and management systems related to vehicle fleet management.
* Operate the RLC Haydock Reception Office environment confidently and efficiently.
* Attend internal and external meetings and manage data recording and reporting.
* Work confidently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* GCSE/'O' Level standards or equivalent, with at least 5 subjects including English and Maths at levels 4-9.
* NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years' office experience with knowledge of office systems and procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; basic vehicle terminology and insurance legislation knowledge.
* Experience in the health service or public sector dealing with insurance claims.
