Description
As aHSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Teamwith responsibility for one of our contracts reporting to thecontract’s HSEQ Lead. You will be responsible for promotingcompliance throughout the business and for escalating all issuesidentified. You will also be responsible for ensuring employees aremade aware of issues raised and for promoting document control andsystem compliance.
KeyResponsibilities
* Reviewrisk assessments, conduct site audits to ensure safety policies andprocedures are being followed across the contract’ssites
* Coach and provide support and guidanceto staff on HSEQ policy, procedures and safe systems ofwork
* Generate detailed reports summarisingaudit findings, compliance levels, and identified risks or areas ofconcern, as well as recommendations
* Liaisewith external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies, addressingany non-conformities
* Drive continuousimprovement initiatives, focusing health and safety performance andbest practise
* Collaborate with projectmanagers, supervisors, and employees to ensure a proactive approachto HSEQ across all levels.
* Provide support andadvice to the leadership team on HSEQ matters, ensuring continuousalignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
* Provide weekly HSEQ compliance reporting to the contract,identifying trends, Key performance indicators, Incident rates,non-compliance issues and actions.
* Monitorcompliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including CDMRegulations, Permit to Work systems, and other industry-specificrequirements.
* Monitor non-conformances andescalate areas of potential impact.
* Support inthe provision of comprehensive contract and managementreports
Experienceand Qualifications
* Experience in a similar HSEQ Auditor Role
* HSEQ Qualification e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (orequivalent)
* Full UK DrivingLicence
