Head of Broker (Build & Lead a New Division) – London / Hybrid
A fast-growing UK alternative business lender is hiring a Head of Broker to build and scale a brand-new brokerage function.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential revenue channel, working with strong inbound deal flow and backing from an established lending platform.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for launching and leading a brokerage division that places deals outside of the company’s core lending criteria.
* Build and scale a brokerage team (target 10–15+ brokers)
* Place deals with a network of alternative and specialist lenders
* Develop and manage key funding relationships
* Design and implement deal placement strategies
* Work closely with internal sales teams to capture “overflow” opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a commercial finance broker or similar
* Strong lender network across the UK alternative finance space
* Track record of placing complex or non-standard deals
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something from the ground up
* Leadership experience or clear potential to scale a team
Package
* £100k–£150k base (depending on experience)
* Lucrative bonus / commission structure
* LTIP potential from day one
Location
* London preferred (hybrid working)
* Open to strong candidates in the North West
