Are you confident, organised, and passionate about supporting young people in education? We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cardiff.
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants ready for the next step, or anyone with experience working with young people who is seeking flexible, rewarding work in schools.
The Role
Supervise classes during teacher absences using pre-set lesson plans
Maintain a positive, focused, and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils with their learning and behaviour
Work across a range of subjects and year groups
Adapt confidently to different school settings
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, etc.)
Strong classroom presence and communication skills
A calm, professional, and proactive approach
Flexibility and reliability
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
