Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established and respected contractor in the construction industry seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to oversee their safety strategy across multiple projects.
About the Role:
As Health and Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust H&S policies and procedures across several schemes. You will be a key player in driving a positive safety culture and ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and review Health & Safety policies and procedures.
2. Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
3. Provide advice and training to site teams and management.
4. Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and action plans.
5. Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and subcontractors.
Requirements
* NEBOSH
* 10 years experience within health and safety in a construction setting.
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, particularly in a principal contractor environment.
