Our client is seeking a Bars Manager to join the team based at their stunning venue featuring over 200 guest bedrooms, bright and airy event spaces, a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a PGA-equivalent 18-hole golf course. They are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join as a Bars Manager, to deliver a consistent and seamless service to maximise revenue through up-selling, service levels and cost control while creating an environment for customers which is stylish, contemporary, offering high quality beverage products. Key Responsibilities and Duties Take responsibility for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of all bars within the hotel. Be completely responsible for the ordering, quality and probability of all beverage stock served throughout the hotel, ensuring that the amount of beverage related stock Ensure that the bars are always organised to meet the needs of the business, with particular attention on beverage stock control, bar set ups and payroll. Constantly drive to motivate the bar team members through confidence, leading from the front, promoting positive attitudes and demonstrating the ability to make things happen to achieve results and encourage the same across the team. Actively assess the needs of the bar business in order to produce effective weekly staff rotas which focus on keeping payroll to a minimum without compromising the quality of beverage service. To understand and actively participate in target setting projects and incentives within the bar management and supervisory team, to ensure that these are communicated and actively encouraged to all team members and that achievements are reviewed regularly. The Ideal Candidate You should possess some 4* bar management experience and at least 12 months previous management experience in a similar role. The role requires that you have previously operated within large and busy beverage service environments. Excellent customer service skills are essential. You should have experience of managing teams, training and staff rotas. It is essential that you have a high level of beverage product knowledge.
