Overview
STA Domestic Assistants support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for both service users and staff. The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this. We are looking for an enthusiastic STA Domestic to join our Facilities Team to work on Saddlebridge recovery centre on the Soss Moss Site in Macclesfield. The role will involve cleaning all areas in line with the national standards of cleanliness, collecting daily rubbish and using cleaning equipment as designated by the domestic supervisor. Successful candidates will receive full training and a uniform will be provided. You will be required to work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach e.g. cover for annual leave and sickness. Previous experience in a domestic environment would be advantageous; if not, training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Clean all areas in line with national standards of cleanliness.
* Collect daily rubbish and dispose of it appropriately.
* Use cleaning equipment as designated by the domestic supervisor.
* Work as part of a team and be flexible to cover for annual leave and sickness.
Qualifications and requirements
* Previous experience in a domestic environment would be advantageous, but training will be provided if not.
* Full training will be provided; a uniform is supplied.
* Discretion and ability to work within a compassionate, person-centred approach.

Recruitment process and support
All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.
