Responsibilities, but are not limited to Leading and developing a growing team of Technical Designers, mentoring, supporting, and helping them thrive Producing accurate and detailed construction drawings (setting out) for bespoke joinery, metalwork, and fit-out packages Managing drawing registers and ensuring all design documentation is kept up to date Interpreting architectural plans and briefs, translating complex requirements into buildable solutions Collaborating with production teams to ensure all designs are fully optimised for CNC/CAM manufacturing Using SolidWorks (and ideally SWOOD) to develop detailed 3D models and drawing packs Planning ahead to keep design deliverables aligned with production schedules Contributing to RIBA Stage 4 drawing packages and offering creative input for new business project pitches Coordinating with external suppliers and internal teams to integrate lighting, AV, textiles, and interactives into final buildsExperiences required Proficient in creating 3D CAD models using SolidWorks or similar software (e.g. Inventor, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, Onshape) Experience using SolidWorks SWOOD is highly advantageous Proven experience as a Technical or Product Designer within bespoke manufacturing, joinery, or interior fit-out sectors, ideally including museum, exhibition, or stage/set environments Skilled in producing detailed, production-ready technical drawings (DFM) and working accurately from architectural plans Experience leading or managing design teams and collaborating with subcontractors is desirablePackage 40 Hours P/W | Monday to Friday | Flexible Hours (6am to 4:30pm) | 28 Days Holiday Inc.
