Base Class Teacher - Fixed term until 18/12/2026 Woodlands School Hours: 30.5 per week Salary: £34,938 - £52,614 Woodlands School is situated in Currie, which is in the southwest area of Edinburgh; we have a roll of 88 young people who are aged between 12-18 years of age. We have 11 classes and each class is capped at a maximum of 8 learners. Since October 2023, our school moved to a class-based model of education, so all of our young people have a base class teacher who will deliver the majority of their learning each day. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
