One-to-One Teaching Assistant

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

We are currently seeking a One-to-One Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil in a school located in the Blackpool area. This part-time role requires a compassionate and committed individual who can start immediately.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide tailored one-to-one support to a pupil, focusing on both academic and personal development.
* Assist with the preparation and delivery of educational materials and activities.
* Help manage the pupil's behaviour and promote positive classroom conduct.
* Support the pupil during classroom activities and ensure they engage effectively.
* Collaborate with teachers to monitor the pupil's progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
* Maintain regular communication with teachers and parents to discuss the child's development and any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience in a similar one-to-one role.
* Strong understanding of the educational needs of children at the primary level.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to student support.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
