Job Title: Resident Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Engineer
Location: Alderley Park, Macclesfield (1 site with 40 buildings)
Salary: £35, to £38, per year (based on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (Standard working hours with possible out-of-hours callout shifts)
Are you technically experienced in LEV systems and customer-oriented?
We are seeking a dedicated Residential LEV Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality service regarding fume cupboards and LEV systems at the Alderley Park estate, which includes 40 buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact, improve systems, and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out statutory compliance testing of Class 1 and Class 2 fume cupboards
Identify and implement proactive improvements to LEV systems
Conduct small repairs to fume cupboards
Respond to reactive repair requests
Perform plantroom cleaning and inspections
Join an out-of-hours callout rota for emergency support
Supervise and escort contractors as required
Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations
What Were Looking For:
Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience working with fume cupboards (Class 1 & 2)
Familiarity with using computers, tablets, phones, and CAFM systems
Previous experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) plant systems

Physical Requirements:
Active role requiring walking in excess of 10, steps per day
