About the role: The work of a Support Worker plays a vital part in meeting the personal care needs of our Residents in a way that respects their dignity as an individual, promoting and encouraging independence. Importantly, you are expected to be proactively involved in creating a warm, friendly atmosphere and maintaining good relations between residents, relatives, visiting professionals and staff. As a Support Worker you will also be working in our under 65's dementia unit, working in this unit you will help support and assist alongside promoting independence to those residents residing in the under 65's unit.
