As an HR Advisor, your role will be varied, hands‑on and impactful. You will:
* Provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and colleagues via phone and email.
* Deliver core operational HR processes, including:
o Payroll and contractual changes
o Family‑friendly leave
o References, right to work checks and DBS/criminal record checks
o Professional registrations and benefits administration
o Skilled Worker sponsorship processes
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, CQC standards and Home Office requirements.
* Manage and resolve HR queries efficiently, escalating complex matters when required.
* Support the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and processes.
* Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives within a supportive HR team.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR Operations Team. This is a key role within the function, offering the chance to support managers and colleagues across the organisation while delivering a high-quality, professional HR service. We're looking for someone who is confident, organised and proactive, with:
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role
* A good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage a varied workload in a busy environment
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience in the care sector and knowledge of regulatory compliance (including right to work and sponsorship processes) would be an advantage.
