Teaching Personnel are seeking motivated and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong classroom management skills who are looking to make a positive impact in education.
Responsibilities
* Supervising classes and managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring pupils understand the tasks
* Assisting students where possible and maintaining a focused learning environment
* Reporting back to the teacher or department head after lessons
Qualifications and skills
* Has experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
* Is confident with classroom or group management
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Is proactive, reliable, and flexible in their approach
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
