As part of your comprehensive induction, you will be provided with all the equipment required for your role These roles are key to delivering the Environment Agency's (EA) Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) function. The main tasks you will be working on will be; • giving flood risk advice to influence our regulatory functions. For example planning applications under the Town and Country Planning Act and/or Flood Risk Activity Permits under the Environmental Permitting Regulations. • giving flood risk advice and guidance to customers and partner organisations, including community groups and local councils. • responding to enquiries and requests for flood risk mapping and modelling data You will be based in one of the Thames area Partnerships and Strategic Overview (PSO) teams.
