Our ideal candidate would meet most of the following requirements:
Requirements:
1. Engineering Geology (or similar) degree and/or Masters with reasonable grade - i.e. have demonstrable formal training in engineering geology, with an understanding of geotechnical engineering and typical geoenvironmental issues that may be encountered in UK site investigations
2. Ability to:
o Understand and investigate both geotechnical & geoenvironmental issues for a range of site types and end-uses
3. Willingness to:
o Spend 2-3 days per week on site, with the remainder in the office
o Work at home / Flexible working will be considered but we would generally require a minimum 1.5-2 days in the office per week, especially during an initial 6 months probation period
4. Experience:
o Minimum 18-24 months demonstrable work experience including site investigations, factual reporting, desk studies and some interpretative experience
5. Qualities:
o Pro-active, observant and inquisitive attitude to site investigation on behalf of the company and our clients
