Role Overview The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services essential for our manufacturing and construction operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement, supplier relationship management, and compliance with company standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and services in line with company cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure reliable and consistent supply chains. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment. Process purchase orders, manage procurement documentation, and ensure accuracy in records. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier database. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and procurement efficiencies. Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Essential Criteria Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
