We are recruiting a Resourcer to support our Accountancy & Finance recruitment desk in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, specialist team placing high‑calibre finance professionals into permanent and interim roles across commerce, corporate and industry finance functions. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a high volume of assignments by identifying, engaging and progressing candidates to meet client needs.

The Role

As a Resourcer you will support the desk through targeted sourcing, candidate engagement and candidate management. Working closely with consultants and senior recruiters, you will deliver proactive research, pipeline development and high quality candidate shortlists.

Conduct targeted sourcing and full lifecycle research including CV database searches, LinkedIn outreach, job board searches, market mapping and headhunting for accounting and finance roles (e.g. management accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, financial control).

Qualify and assess candidates through phone screenings, competency and motivation checks, ensuring a consistent and professional candidate experience.

Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies, maintaining accurate records in the ATS/CRM and ensuring data hygiene.

Prepare candidate shortlists, CV summaries and interview packs for consultants and hiring managers; coordinate interview scheduling and feedback collection.

Support business development activity by producing market intelligence, talent mapping and research insight to inform client conversations and role briefs.

Collaborate with the team to meet SLAs and desk targets, contributing to a high performing, team‑orientated culture.

Assist with administrative tasks and coordination to ensure smooth delivery of the recruitment process from brief to offer.

About You

We are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially aware individual who enjoys sourcing and engaging talent. The role is suitable for someone with early stage recruitment experience or a related research/operations background who wants to specialise in accountancy and finance recruitment.

Experience of candidate sourcing, screening and engagement in a recruitment, RPO or talent acquisition environment (agency experience desirable but not essential).

Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and other digital sourcing tools; confident using MS Office or equivalent.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders professionally and persuasively.

High attention to detail, excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Commercial mindset with a desire to learn about finance markets, build relationships and support revenue generating activity.

Resilient, self‑motivated and a collaborative team player who is comfortable working to deadlines and targets.
