About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. You’ll take ownership of delivering Smoke Ventilation and Fire Alarm Systems from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver projects to specification, schedule, and budget.
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to support successful project delivery and future opportunities.
* Oversee all technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, legislation, and health & safety requirements.
* Prepare and issue method statements, risk assessments, and supporting documentation.
* Monitor installation quality and performance of FDS operatives and subcontractors.
* Protect and represent the company’s contractual and commercial interests at all times.
* Manage financial elements of each project, including procurement, invoicing, and supporting debt collection when required.
* Follow all internal processes and report accurate project progress through company systems.
* Conduct post-commissioning reviews to verify compliance with design and specifications.
* Ensure timely preparation and submission of O&M manuals and certification for installed life safety systems.
* Always act as a professional ambassador for the company.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager (or similar) in the fire safety industry — experience with smoke venting installations is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering results.
* Team player who goes the extra mile for clients and colleagues.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
