Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer
The role involves field and office responsibilities related to soil and rock sampling and monitoring on infrastructural projects.
Responsibilities
* Trail pitting
* Site supervision of cable percussion, rotary & window sampling drilling rigs (all in house)
* Logging of soils & rock samples and preparation of factual reports
* Short & long term monitoring of slopes, gas and groundwater regimes
* Database management
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant degree
* Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant field and office experience
* Full clean driving licence
* Willingness to work away from home for short and long periods
