Salary: 27,000 : 36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Havering.
This permanent role offers the chance to work across Early Years and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 6. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high:quality learning experiences, covering classes when required and providing targeted interventions that help pupils reach their full potential.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver planned lessons and confidently cover classes across Reception to Year 6
Lead small group and one:to:one intervention sessions to support pupil progress
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their individual targets
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and senior leaders
Promote positive behaviour and create a productive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupil wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
Holds HLTA status or has significant experience working at HLTA level
Has proven experience covering classes within a primary school setting
Is confident delivering interventions that accelerate pupil progress
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
Has excellent communication and organisational abilities
Is adaptable and confident working across different year groups
Is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
