Credit Controller Location : Belfast Job Type : Full-time | 6-month Contract (possible extension) | Office-based | Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with a growing company operating in the engineering/construction sector in the appointment of an experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic team! The successful Credit Controller will be strengthening their finance team and support the financial stability of their business as they continue to expand across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the company's debtor ledger across multiple business units. Review and manage customer accounts, including setting up new accounts. Proactively contact customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices. Resolve account queries by liaising with project managers and customers. Allocate and reconcile incoming payments. Produce regular aged debt and open account reports, highlighting risks or concerns. Support the continuous improvement of financial and credit control processes. What you'll need to succeed! Experience in credit control or a similar finance role. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information. Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently. Experience with accounting software's/finance systems is desirable. A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
