Responsibilities
* Create Lessons that Last. Lead with a tailored learning approach, alongside our smart learning tool Compass, to empower members to overcome challenges and progress. The lessons you teach will provide tools to unlock potential tomorrow.
* Create Lasting Relationships. In our small group sessions (16:1 ratio), build strong relationships with members and inspire children to be fearless in their approach to learning.
* Create Change. Support members as they progress through the national curriculum, entrance exam and GCSE preparation, with the aim of achieving meaningful progress and celebrating achievements along the way.

* Group-based tutoring. You will tutor small groups with a 16:1 ratio, teaching children aged 4–16 and covering the national curriculum, 11-plus entrance exam and GCSE content. You must be able to travel to the centre you are applying for.
* Commitment. This role suits individuals seeking a long‑term commitment to provide consistency and stability for the children you’ll work with.
* Hours and schedule. Contract to work at least 6 hours per week over 2 days. Start times are between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm on weekdays.
Pay Rates & Progression
* Under 18: £8–£9 per hour
* 18–20: £10.05–£11.05 per hour
* 21+: £12.25–£13.25 per hour
* Additional 50p per hour if working at a centre inside the M25
* Paid training and induction
You will start at the base rate for your age group, with the opportunity to increase pay based on hours tutored.
Requirements
* Achieve a grade 5 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent. Predicted GCSE grades are accepted if results are expected within 3 months.
* You must be age 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
