Job Title: SEND Key Worker Rate: £250 per day Location: Staffordshire (Fully Remote) About the Role: Pertemps is recruiting for an experienced SEND Key Worker to support a local authority in Staffordshire. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideal for a professional with strong experience in coordinating Education, Health and Care (EHC) processes. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating, facilitating, and developing outcome-focused Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring all work aligns with relevant legislation and the SEND Code of Practice. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive assessments of need Develop high-quality, outcome-focused Education, Health & Care Plans Act as a key worker for children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Liaise with multi-disciplinary professionals including Social Workers, Educational Psychologists, and Health practitioners Request and coordinate specialist assessments and contributions Ensure all plans and processes comply with SEND legislation and the Code of Practice Maintain clear communication with families and professionals throughout the process Requirements: Proven experience working within SEND, ideally in a local authority setting Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and the SEND Code of Practice Experience coordinating multi-agency input and managing complex caseloads Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Why work through Pertemps?
