The HLTA under the professional direction and supervision of the class teacher or subject leader will: plan, prepare and deliver lessons across the school mark and assess learning in line with school feedback, marking and assessment procedures record and report on effort, progress and attainment to class teachers or subject leaders deliver interventions and additional classroom support be responsible for PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) or Subject Release Cover ensure good behaviour of the pupils, following the schools’ expectations and policy follow school procedures for collection of pupils at the end of the school day. You will need to: be a good team player who is positive and motivated to do the best for the children be flexible, adaptable and able to create exciting learning opportunities that will inspire children be a teacher that models good classroom management and who has high expectations for our pupils build positive relationships with children, staff and families promote good progress and outcomes for all pupils be able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing be reflective as you continually strive for innovative and impactful practice.
