DUTIES: In this role you’ll lead customs governance, safeguard import/export compliance and manage customs clearance operations for spare parts, cars, trucks and EV’s
* Manage tariff classification and compliance for all imported vehicles and parts.
* Ensure that processes are aligned with UK/EU regulations.
* Liaise with HMRC, respond to audits and manage relationships with customs‑clearance agencies.
* Optimise clearance processes across UK ports..
* Collaborate with logistics, finance and commercial teams to support new‑product introductions and market expansion.
REQUIREMENTS
* Solid experience in automotive customs and import operations.
* Knowledge of UK Customs Code, rules of origin and trade‑agreement structures.
* Degree in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related field.
