Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes or individuals receiving home care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well‑being of those in our care. Responsibilities
* Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
* Assist in implementing and following individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and high‑quality care.
* Support residents with medication reminders and monitor their health status as required.
* Assist with household tasks within care environments or home settings to promote comfort and safety.
* Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transportation.
Requirements
* Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting residents or running errands.
* Experience working within a care home or providing home care is preferred.
* Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly.
* Good command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
* Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing high‑quality care.

Pay: 24,420.00-33,009.90 per year
