This role is offered on a temporary basis until January 2026, with the potential for extension. The position involves supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students across a range of PE activities and sports. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of structured and engaging PE lessons to students aged 11–16 Assist in coaching a variety of sports and encouraging participation among all ability levels Promote a positive, inclusive sports culture within the school community Work collaboratively with PE staff to prepare and supervise sessions Ensure student safety and well-being during all physical activities Inspire students to develop healthy lifestyles and a long-term interest in fitness What We’re Looking For A background in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field (degree preferred but not essential) Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting Knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 PE curriculum and various sports disciplines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students with varying interests and abilities Understanding of safeguarding procedures and safe practice in sports environments A proactive, enthusiastic approach to promoting fitness and well-being Why Join Us?
