Salary: £12.60 per hour. Hours: Zero Hours. Contract: As and when required - No set hours.
This is a Regulated Service and successful candidates will be required to register with the Scottish Social Security Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting.
Responsibilities
* Join our dynamic team as a Support Worker and conduct assessments in individuals' homes with a person-centred focus on their needs, preferences and goals.
* Work closely with people, their families and other professionals to create care plans tailored to their needs and goals.
* Assist and enable individuals with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication management and mobility support.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
* Monitor and evaluate individuals progress, adjusting care plans as needed to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
* Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of interactions, care plans and progress.
What you will need
* Previous experience in a similar care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
* The right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of person-centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
* Ability to work independently, showing initiative and reliability.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
