3. Manage a small portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance work.
4. Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, addressing their specific needs.
5. Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and growth.
6. Review P11D tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring high standards are maintained.
7. Identify opportunities for tax savings and proactively advise clients on potential benefits.
8. Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client solutions.
9. Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance across all client accounts.
10. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Personal Tax Manager / Senior Manager should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
12. Proven expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
13. Experience managing a client portfolio within the professional services industry.
14. Strong leadership skills to guide and support a tax team effectively.
15. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues confidently.
