Principal Responsibilities

We have ambitious growth and strategic plans to expand our business over the next year. We are looking to grow our teams and require like‑minded professionals to support our journey.
To provide a wide range of company services on our client’s sites throughout the UK to the highest possible standard. An OH technician must either drive a mobile medical unit (if applicable) or have their own vehicle if the role is room‑based.
Role & Responsibilities
* Drive a mobile medical unit (approximate size of an ambulance) or own road‑worthy vehicle to provide services on client sites throughout the UK.
* Provide a wide range of company services on client sites including:
o Hearing tests
o Lung function tests
o Skin checks
o Hand‑Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) assessments
o Vision screening
o Job‑specific medicals (e.g. FLT driver medicals)
o Drug & alcohol screening
o Blood pressure checks
o Wellbeing assessments
* The role involves working away from home with overnight stays for up to four nights most weeks (e.g., leaving home Monday morning and returning Friday evening).
* The 24/7 service requires working shifts including early starts, evenings and nights; the role is mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
* Ensure targets and KPIs are met while maintaining company protocols and workplace rules and procedures.
* Provide outstanding customer service to ensure client and employee satisfaction.
* Display a positive, proactive attitude.
* Support and promote the Latus Group and all its policies.
Training and Development
* Commit to and take responsibility for continued personal development.
* Maintain evidence of continued personal development.
* Attend all relevant internal and external training.
* Share learning experiences with team members.
* Be willing to undertake relevant training for formal qualifications.
* Discuss personal development needs with the Training & Quality Manager to achieve best practice.
* Pursue further qualifications as required by legislation.
Skills / Experience Required
* Previous experience delivering Health Screen services or a background in health and wellbeing.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Computer literate, competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams) and operation of bespoke occupational health software and specialist testing equipment.
* Full UK driver’s licence, with a maximum of six penalty points.
* Ability to secure off‑site parking for the mobile medical unit (if assigned).
* Work under own initiative.
* Pro‑active, decisive and prioritising abilities.
* Time‑management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Problem‑solving ability with a positive attitude.
* Attention to detail with emphasis on accurate data recording.
