As a Team Leader, you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement during your shift management.
Key responsibilities include:
Maximise profit:
* Focus on delivering great availability for customers.
* Actively promote sales by encouraging customers to “sell a £1 & save a £1”.
* Complete all actions set by your line manager.
Engage, develop & retain great people:
* Support and collaborate with the Talking Shop Rep.
* Encourage team engagement.
* Create an inclusive culture where everyone can excel.
* Support your own development and share knowledge to upskill the team.
Doing the right processes and doing them right:
* Follow actions from daily floor walks focusing on customer experience.
* Provide excellent service in-store and at the doorstep.
* Adhere to cash handling and security policies.
* Implement all “One Best Way” digital processes.

Your leadership should inspire your team to deliver the best for our customers:
* Be approachable and customer-focused.

Required skills & experience:
* Retail management or supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to plan and organise shifts using team members efficiently.
* Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
* Lead by example to deliver a great store experience.
