As an Adult Lawyer in Dorset Council you will be involved in work that is interesting and varied and which contributes to making a positive difference to the residents of Dorset. You will need to provide clear and detailed written legal advice to both internal and external clients on matters such as Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Ordinary Residence, S117 aftercare and the Care Act 2014. You will have the opportunity to attend the County Court and provide representation, where appropriate. You will attend weekly team meetings, which support collaborative working and you will be supported in regular 1:1's to achieve your objectives for learning and development. Training is provided to our internal clients which you will help to deliver.
