Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a **Receiving & Release Inspector** to join our Logistics team, where you’ll support the inspection and certification of aerospace parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet the highest quality and regulatory standards. This role will be based at our Bishops Cleeve site.**The Role:**As a Receiving & Release Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing products meet design, customer and regulatory requirements. You’ll carry out a wide range of inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies, using precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques to verify conformance against drawings, specifications and purchase orders.To be successful in this role, you’ll bring experience working in a quality inspection environment, ideally within aerospace or a similarly regulated industry. You’ll be confident interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, with hands-on experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment, including CMM or similar systems.You’ll have a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work, with the ability to make sound decisions on product acceptance or rejection. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain quality standards.
