Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join the Dementia Intensive Support Team on a part-time basis. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with an excellent telephone manner. The role involves handling calls from referrers or carers, which can sometimes be challenging and distressing, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
This position requires a confident individual capable of supporting a busy service and team environment. You will need to respond to changing priorities and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines. Relevant and recent administration experience is essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. There is potential to increase hours to support the service during the other Team Administrator's leave.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Managing the team's main phone line into the service
2. Processing referrals to the team
3. Taking minutes at team meetings
4. Supporting the team to prevent breaches and maintain data quality
5. Monitoring and managing lone working procedures
6. Providing data as requested by the team leader or wider organization
7. Covering for the other team administrator during leave or sickness
8. Supporting data input and maintaining accurate records
9. Attending relevant meetings

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential): NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, or working towards it.
Experience (Essential): Experience with secretarial procedures and systems at an intermediate level; ability to work with senior staff across a large organization.
Desirable: Staff supervision or appraisal experience.
Skills (Essential): Excellent communication skills.
Desirable: Interpersonal skills, proactive, diplomatic, maintaining confidentiality.
