Title: MS&T Analytical Manager Company: Ipsen Biopharm Ltd : The MS&T Analytical Manager will lead development, implementation and maintenance of production process methods and equipment to ensure cost effectiveness and improved product quality ensuring compliance with regulatory, and legal requirements and good manufacturing procedures. Key responsibilities: Lead analytical strategies and implementation of state-of art technologies for detailed characterisation of biologics to support commercial Manufacturing, tech transfer and new product introductions Lead appropriate analytical manufacturing control strategies and lifecycle improvements, in line with QbD approaches (identified critical quality attributes, product specification and associated process design strategies), to support product-process understanding, manufacturing implementation and regulatory approvals Be key member of the MS&T departmental leadership team responsible and working closely with department director and other MS&T department leaders in setting departmental objectives, talent reviews, team development, performance management etc Working closely with tech transfer and strategic projects lead in identifying, developing and executing analytical improvement and optimisation projects ensuring allocation of resources to the identified projects Identify analytical testing requirements for the MS&T team Effectively plan, approve, co-ordinate and perform analytical work Working with internal and external parties (CMOs, consultants, etc) to lead advancement of site analytical testing practices. Implementation and technical transfer (from BPD / to QC) of appropriate state-of-art analytical testing technologies and lifecycle strategies Proactively engage with key partners across and outside of the business to drive forward and support the Ipsen Biologics strategy Management of the analytical MS&T group & staff; incorporating direct and indirect (matrix) staff management. Support external CRO, CMO, academic and industry collaborations to enhance analytical technology and understandings, external visibility & promotion of Ipsen biologics awareness. Support capital investment justifications and business cases to support new investments and strategy.
